Learn More About KM Tutoring
As I licensed teacher in the State of Oregon for over 20 years’, I hold experience in education in a variety of age groups and subjects. I had my own classroom for 10 years both in elementary and middle schools. As a substitute, I am fortunate to spend time in many types of classrooms of all ages. I have always held close to my heart to help a child love learning; to connect and help them grow as learners. I know each child has their own learning style and needs because children are not cookie cutters. I’m able to adjust curriculum to accommodate how we learn together as we move through the year.
On a personal note, I have 2 children, one who just graduated, and a freshman at Sprague. This is my cat Buddy. We were very lucky to adopt him last year at the Humane Society. I have traveled to many places around the world. I like to learn by doing in each new country. I also lived in South Africa as an exchange student, and in South Korea as an English teacher. Whenever possible, I love spending time with animals when I’m traveling. Nothing beats a mud fight with an elephant! 😊
I hope to hear from you soon. Stay Safe.
~Kirsten
